WELCOME TO HALBORN.NET

We hope this site will be used to enlarge and enrich our family story. Through sharing, all of us can help to correct and enhance what we know about the past. And all of us can help fill out the story by offering information about the present — births, deaths, anniversaries, graduations, weddings and the everyday business of living our lives.

The site was originally built in 2014 by Joan Abramson and Roman Weinfeld. It was updated in 2025 to take advantage of improvements in web technology. The site is now administered by Mark Abramson, Joan’s son, and his cousin, David Caditz. Both are great grandchildren of Nisla Mirla Halborn, living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Roman Weinfeld in Warsaw will also be contributing. The new site lacks some of the commenting capabilities of the previous site, and functions more as an archive of stories about our family and other resources. The Halborn Family has accounts on both Facebook and Instagram, if there is anything to discuss. Links to both are on every page of this web site.

You’re welcome to submit ideas, photographs, stories and videos for possible inclusion. Please use the contact form to get an email message to one of the administrators, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. Suggestions for improving the site are always welcome.
